November Meeting Minutes
Boy, you could sure tell that everyone was ready for November to get here. The turkey line was full!! There was so much good food it was hard to keep you place in line. What if you got up to the tables and that large bowl of just what you wanted was now –empty. As I stood back and mixed my mashed potatoes I could see these thoughts cross the minds of those already in line. But my concerns were greater theirs. I was not in line yet. I watched the smiling faces glide by with heaping plates of everything I wanted. As my time finally approached I thought about the meaning of Thanksgiving. I was reminded that I was thankful for knowing all of these wonderful people, thankful for my precious bees, and I’ll admit it—I was thankful for the people who brought plenty of food so even the last member could have just about everything they could want for a great Thanksgiving dinner.
